Jon Jones' return to the octagon has been delayed again

Fans of Jon Jones should not wait for the return of their idol to the octagon in the next five months.

According to UFC President Dana White, the organization’s matchmakers are still working on the American heavyweight debut, which is scheduled for next spring.

“I hope we will return it at the beginning of the year, more precisely, in the spring,” the head of the UFC said in an interview with TheMacLife.

Thus, White denied the information that Jon Jones could return before the end of the year and lead the UFC 282 tournament, which will be held on December 10 in Las Vegas.

Considering that UFC 285 will be the first spring event in London, it can be assumed that the former UFC light heavyweight champion will not fight his next fight until April, which means he will be absent from the octagon for more than three years.
