38-year-old British heavyweight Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs) is not going to go into the shadows after defeating Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev (29-3, 14 KOs) in a rematch.
According to Chisora, he understands that his time in boxing is running out, and therefore does not want to waste time in vain. Former world champion American Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) is the opponent against whom he would like to enter the ring next.
“Three years ago I won for the last time … Today I am happy, but at the same time, sad too,” Derek admitted. “I don’t have much left in me, but whatever is left, I will give to you guys. I’m on my way to retirement, there are a few fights left…”
“I don’t want easy fights, I want as hard as possible. I told Eddie Hearn if he could get me a fight with Deontay Wyler, I would be happy. I want to fight all the fighters of my era. And it doesn’t matter if I win or lose, I just want to fight, ”Chisora added.
