Who will win in a Joshua-Wilder fight? Robert Garcia has the answer.

American coach Robert Garcia, who prepared British heavyweight Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) for his last fight, in which he lost on points to Ukrainian Alexander Usik for the second time in a row, strongly advises Joshua not to enter the ring in his next fight against American Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs), because after two failures, Anthony needs one or two easier opponents.

And when / if it comes to the Joshua-Wilder fight, it will hardly be a long spectacle, the mentor believes.

“I don’t think a fight like this will make it to the scorecards,” Garcia says. “They both hit hard. Many people may think that Wilder will knock Anthony out, but I think whoever hits first wins the fight. I worked with Anthony and I know how strong his punch is. And while I haven’t had the chance to feel Wilder’s power, it looks like he has a powerful punch. But Anthony also has a very serious striking power. I think it’s the same as Wilder’s, it just can’t be any smaller. That’s why I’m inclined to believe that the one who hits first will win.

So Roy Jones insists that there is no way Joshua can fight Wilder right now.
