Belal Muhammad gave a prediction for his fight with Leon Edwards

UFC welterweight title challenger Belal Muhammad has no doubts about his win over Leon Edwards, and is confident of taking the title from the division’s reigning champion in dominant fashion.

“Honestly, I think I’m going to shake him at the beginning of the fight and then move him down,” Muhammad told MMAJunkie. “I could finish him right away by technical knockout, but I’m going to let him come to his senses. Then I’ll look at his trainer and say, ‘Hey, tell him some motivational words. Tell him to be a man,’ and his coach is like, ‘I don’t know what to say to him.’ Then I’ll keep hitting him, saying, ‘Tell him something.’ After that, I’ll go in for a choke from behind, and as soon as he’s ready to tap, I’ll let him go. I’ll let him catch his breath, get to his corner, and hopefully his trainer will give him some good advice.”

“In the second round, I’ll move him again. I’ll start hitting him, including elbows. This time I’ll look at his brother, like, ‘Bro, don’t you want to chip in for your brother? Don’t you want to help him out? In response, he’ll be spewing curses and yelling at me, and I’ll just smile. Then I’ll look at Leon, and say, ‘That’s it, I’m done with you,’ then finish him off in round two. You can call me ‘Mystic Muhammad’.”

As a reminder, the welterweight title fight between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad will be the main event of UFC 304, which takes place July 27 in Manchester.
