Former interim Bellator heavyweight champion Valentin Moldavsky will fight again with American Steve Mowry, the first fight with which in August last year ended at 54 seconds and was declared invalid due to an accidental poke in the eye from the Russian.
After that, the heavyweights had one fight each – Moldavsky lost by knockout to Linton Vassell, and Mowry made a draw with Ali Isaev. At the moment, the Russian and the American occupy the second and third lines in the Bellator heavyweight division rankings, respectively.
The seventh number of the Bellator lightweight rating, Islam Mammadov, will fight with the American Sidney Outlaw, who occupies the sixth position in the division. The Russian will return to business after winning by unanimous decision against Nick Brown, and his opponent will try to rehabilitate himself after losing by technical knockout from Tofik Musaev.
