Aljamain Sterling is offended by the President of the UFC

The current UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling, was extremely unhappy with the form in which UFC president, Dana White, denied his statement about the cancellation of the title fight with Sean O’Malley the day before.

“Dana is very nice behind closed doors, but then he says that I can’t help but put a spoke in my wheels,” MMA Fighting quotes the American. “What does that even mean? I’m doing what champions should do and my question to Dana White is why can’t you just give me credit? Even if you feel that I can’t help but put a spoke in my wheels, although there is no context to this, because I do literally everything that I am asked to. What does it mean, Dana? I’m pretty sure he couldn’t have given a direct answer to that question.”

“Why was it so hard for him to say, ‘The fight is definitely on, we talked to the guy, he always goes to fights, always makes weight, always meets the press, and we know for sure that he will appear. He fought just two weeks ago, a little shabby, but he gave us his word that he would come to the fight – this guy is a real killer, he is a flint. Why didn’t he say what he says about Conor McGregor about me? If Conor does something, he immediately goes, ‘Wow, isn’t that amazing?’ Can I be amazing too, Dana?”

Recall that the bantamweight title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley will be the main event of the UFC 292 tournament, which will be held August 19 in Boston.
