WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman has officially announced that his organization has canceled a lightweight qualifying match booked last week between American Ryan Garcia (22-0, 18 KOs) and Mexican Isaac Cruz (23-2-1, 16 KOs).
The reason for the decision will amuse you. It turns out that both already have and at the time of the announcement there was a date for the next fight and an opponent. Such rumors circulated before, and even the name of Garcia’s rival was called, but his representatives denied everything.
The fans have accumulated questions to the American. It is not clear why he commented on the pathos of the decision of the WBC to appoint his fight with Cruz, if he knew that the fight would not take place.
Garcia is now forced to fend off questions
through social networks: “I’m sick of all this bullshit. See how it was. Oscar (De La Hoya) sent me a copy of the offer they made to Cruz. But there was no answer. So they don’t want to fight. Well, good. In any case, I will enter the ring on July 16th. You just don’t need to cheat.”
‘King’ Garcia pissed off about fake account
“Queen Ryan”: “What kind of a ssykl do you need to be to hide behind a troll account? Is it weak to carry all this nonsense in your own name?
A little later, the applicant promised that the name of his opponent would be announced very soon and angrily replied to the phrase that “if it’s not Pitbull Cruz, then it’s bullshit”: “Pitbull doesn’t want a light from me. He got scared when I threatened to put him on his ass.”
The WBC does not exclude that they will again appoint this fight as an eliminator, “but later.” Cruz, meanwhile, is also not opposed to promoting: “Lomachenko, Garcia, Haney, Kambosos – let’s do anything!”
