Rustam Khabilov received US visa, Bellator debut scheduled for March

More than two years after signing a contract with Bellator, Russian fighter Rustam Khabilov received an American visa and can make his debut under the league banner in the United States.

According to available information, Khabilov will take part in the event scheduled for March this year. Presumably, this will be the Bellator 292 tournament, which is not yet on the official calendar of the organization.

36-year-old Rustam Khabilov was supposed to make his debut in the organization back in 2021 at a tournament in Moscow, but dropped out of the fight with Andrei Koreshkov, ill with the coronavirus, and last year the Welshman Lewis Long refused to fight the Russian.

The last fight “Tiger” held in November 2019 under the banner of the UFC, defeating his compatriot Sergey Khandozhko by unanimous decision.
