Prospects ‘Princess’ Olasquaga and ‘Bronco’ Conto both score early wins

Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino, Niagara Falls, New York, USA. In the main event of the evening, lightweights (up to 61.2 kg)
Wilfredo Flores (9-0-1, 5 KOs) from Puerto Rico and
Victor Betancourt Jr. (27-4, 14 KOs) from Mexico fought for the WBA Fedecentro title. The belt remained with the Puerto Rican.

Flores dominated most of the fight. Betancourt failed to start the fight, tried to increase the density of the fight in the 4th round. The champion accepted the felling – in the 6th round, both of them amused the fans with a dashing exchange. Betancourt tried to go all-in, which ended in another great final round.

Judges score: 99-91, 97-93 and 98-92.

Also, as part of the evening, unbeaten flyweight avenues (up to 50.8 kg) converged:
Anthony “Princess” Olasquaga (4-0, 2 KOs) from USA knocked out
Gustavo Perez Alvarez (8-1, 2 KOs) from Mexico.

Olasquaga started the fight with an aggressive first number, he worked great on Perez’s body. He kept the pace, responded with blows for blows, tried to counter. In the 5th round, “Princess” pinched the Mexican at the ropes – he got it great.

More Perez flew in the 6th round. The Mexican was knocked down, but held out until the gong. On the 7th three-minute he did not come out.

Parx Casino, Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA. As part of the show, the local heavyweight prospect (over 90.7 kg) fighter Top Rank Sonny “Bronco” Conto (10-0, 8 KOs) knocked out his compatriot journeyman in the 3rd round Justin Rolfe (7-4-1, 5 KOs).

The one-sided bout was stopped by the referee after the prospect hit the underdog twice in a row with left hooks. Togo was twisted in pain, he was clearly unable to continue the fight.
