“Not everyone can be a Hopkins.” Analyst explains why Golovkin will lose to Alvarez

Well-known boxing historian, analyst and commentator Steve Farhood shared his opinion about the main fight of the fall, the third part of the Mexican-Kazakh confrontation between Canelo Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs) and Gennady Golovkin (42-1-1, 37 KOs), which will take place already this boxing weekend in Las Vegas (USA).

The specialist is inclined to believe that at his current age, Gennady will no longer be able to compete on equal terms with Canelo.

“As close and competitive as bouts 1 and 2 are, it’s hard not to favor Canelo in the upcoming fight,” says Farhoud. – Not everyone can be Bernard Hopkins, and it is simply unthinkable to think that Golovkin can fight at the highest level in his 40s. Plus, he looked vulnerable in the last fight (with Murata). Canelo will win by comfortable decision.”

Meanwhile, Golovkin revealed plans for his career after his fight with Canelo.
