Mokaev announced his desire to fight the former contender for the UFC title on social networks, citing a potential opponent’s track record, including canceled fights.
“This guy is number six in my division and I’m sure that’s not normal. Alex Perez, I can send you into fast-track retirement – just let me know the date of your retirement, ”the fighter representing England wrote.
Alex Perez, 31, is on a two-fight losing streak, losing by submission to Deiveson Figueredo and Alejandra Pantozhe, and the organization has had to cancel his scheduled fights ten times over the past three years.
Undefeated Muhammad Mokaev won his fourth victory under the UFC banner two weeks ago, finishing with a broken neck of the Brazilian Zhafel Filho. Mokaev currently ranks twelfth in the flyweight division.
