Muhammad Mokaev challenged former UFC title contender

Muhammad Mokaev, a 22-year-old native of Dagestan, is counting on the fact that his next opponent will be American fighter Alex Perez, who occupies the sixth position in the UFC flyweight division ranking.

Mokaev announced his desire to fight the former contender for the UFC title on social networks, citing a potential opponent’s track record, including canceled fights.

“This guy is number six in my division and I’m sure that’s not normal. Alex Perez, I can send you into fast-track retirement – just let me know the date of your retirement, ”the fighter representing England wrote.

Alex Perez, 31, is on a two-fight losing streak, losing by submission to Deiveson Figueredo and Alejandra Pantozhe, and the organization has had to cancel his scheduled fights ten times over the past three years.

Undefeated Muhammad Mokaev won his fourth victory under the UFC banner two weeks ago, finishing with a broken neck of the Brazilian Zhafel Filho. Mokaev currently ranks twelfth in the flyweight division.
