Wembley Arena, London, England. Local light heavyweight (up to 79.4 kg) Anthony Yard (23-3, 22 KOs) failed to upset the unified world champion of Canada, Russian Artur Beterbiev (19-0, 19 KOs).
The champion started the fight with an aggressive first number. He occupied the center of the ring, began to crush the opponent, pushing him to the ropes. Yard countered well with a left hook, but was afraid to develop chances. Beterbiev took aim and also brought a couple of laterals to the target.
