The Irishman commented on the defeat and thanked for the support

Former UFC Double Weight Champion Conor McGregor commented on the defeat of Dustin Poirier in the main fight of UFC 257.

The Irishman lost by knockout in the second round. After the fight, Conor wrote a post in which he thanked for the support.

“Thank you all for your support! It was not my night, but thanks to this competition, I will become better. I’m looking forward to the upcoming blockbuster trilogy that I have in my hands right now. Dustin is a hell of a fighter and I can’t wait to go against him in the octagon again. Restoring my leg and my spirit on the way home! God bless us all, Happy Sunday,” McGregor wrote.
