Zhalgas Zhumagulov left the UFC

Former Fight Nights Global flyweight champion, Zhalgas Zhumagulov, is no longer a fighter in the strongest league in the world.

UFC representatives officially announced that Zhumagulov left the organization’s roster, losing the last fight under the current contract.

The 34-year-old from Kazakhstan suffered his fourth consecutive loss under the UFC banner last month, losing a split decision to Joshua Wang. In total, Zhumagulov spent seven fights in the league, scoring one victory and suffering six defeats.

The only successful performance of Zhalgas Zhumagulov in the UFC came in a fight with Jerome Rivera, whom he finished in July 2021 by guillotine choke in the first round.
