The World MMA Awards 2022 nominations were announced.
MMA Fighting was nominated as MMA Media Source of the Year. This award has been won by the outlet five times. Shaheen Al Shati, deputy editor, and Ariel Helwani, journalist have been nominated to MMA Journalists of the Year. Helwani’s The MMA Hour has also been nominated as Best MMA Programming.
Helwani won his 11th MMA Journalist of the Year award at the 2021 World MMA Awards.
