Will Fury vs Joshua take place or not? White’s opinion

Boxing consultant Dean White (Blvck Boxmanagement) explained why fans still should not expect a fight between the best British heavyweights in December – current and former world champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).

By
opinion White, “You have to consider that Fury now rules the division. He can afford to fight anyone. I myself would like to see the fight with Joshua, but it will not be. At least not now. After all, Joshua after the defeat. That is, he first needs to solve his problems – to recover physically and mentally. He needs a break. No need to force a comeback into the ring. I think he should be back next year. I want to see him rejuvenated and rejuvenated.”

At the same time, White believes that “Purely stylistically, in a fight with Fury, Joshua may have a better chance than he did with the uncomfortable southpaw Oleksandr Usyk. Yes, Fury is the #1 boar now. Yes, he also knows how to box left-handed. And, as for me, Joshua is much more comfortable to box with a right-hander. But I still think that the fight between Anthony and Tyson would be cool and interesting.”

White explains in a simple way: “At this level, when you turn into a marketing machine, it is almost impossible to make a fight in a few days. Even Fury’s fight with Dillian Whyte took a lot of time to decide to settle all the moments. Believe me, it always happens at this level. And Joshua is not just a fighter. It’s the same guy from the posters. Therefore, to make this fight is not at all so simple. He will come, but not now. Everything has its time”.

The expert does not rule out that Fury will still fight with Manuel Charr: “This is definitely not the fight that is interesting to me. I know Charr will be put to bed. But I understand why he is. This guy is bright and interesting. He is charismatic. He will help sell tickets. No, I don’t want this fight. Moreover, Charr is now clearly overweight, he has been broken more than once. Apparently Fury just wants to fight. It doesn’t matter with whom. I do not rule out that next year he will finally leave boxing. Yes, that’s what they say on the sidelines.”

Earlier, the expert analyzed what exactly prevents the Fury-Joshua fight from being made. Rumor has it that the champion team offered the challenger a way to settle all disputes. Despite this, the contract has not yet been signed. By the way, Fury’s father knows the whole truth about the negotiations.
