Wilder’s coach compared the odds of Usyk and Fury

IBF, WBO and WBA heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and WBC champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 23 KOs) have plus or minus equal chances to success in their upcoming megafight, which is scheduled for early spring. So says the coach of another top heavyweight Deontay Wilder.

“This is a 50/50 fight, absolutely,” coach Malik Scott said outright. “Fury is big, but Usyk… When it comes to skill, there is no one more “snarky” than Usyk. I think everything will be decided by who is more skillful than the dimensions.

According to the coach, Usyk “fights very well with the big guys, he knows how to cheat with them.”

Fury has already fled Usyk twice – Bellew

“Look what he did to Joshua twice. Okay, Fury is not Joshua, he also knows how to work against the smaller guys, but … Usyk finds a way to win, Scott said
iFL TV. – It’s a great fight. I won’t be surprised if Usyk wins. Fury won’t be surprised either.”

Malik also expressed the opinion that it would not have been an equal fight if Alexander had gone against Tyson during his time with Ben Davison. The coach believes that Fury, who works with coach Sugarhill Steward, is, of course, aggressively dangerous, but he is also more vulnerable than Fury Davison.

On January 10, Usyk got naked, took a selfie and calls Fury: “Where are you, Mamon?”
