Finnish “Nordic Nightmare” Robert Helenius (31-3, 19 KO’s) intends on October 15 to give everything like never before. The veteran understands that a victory over former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs), who lost only to Tyson Fury, will most likely lead him to a title fight.
“I feel very good, the training camp is going well. I’ve fought a lot of good opponents and I’ve had a long career. Already 25 years in boxing. It’s certainly a big fight. I respect Deontay, but when I come to America, I will give everything that I have,” Robert did not specify what he would give, victory or all his strength to achieve it, but then he nevertheless clarified: “I am ready to do everything to win” .
Helenius says that [опрометчиво?] promised his fans in Finland that he would “bring” home the world title.
Wilder didn’t get bored outside of boxing
“Sometimes you have to go through a lot to get there. But I’m going to do my best. This is a huge fight. All I ever wanted was a chance to win a world title. That’s why I’ve been fighting all these years. If I hadn’t seen that I could do it, I would have stopped a long time ago and found a simpler job, ”says the Finn.
And warns Wilder: “I am grateful to Deontay for his kind words, but on October 15 I intend to bring the spirit of the Vikings into the ring.”
What Helenius had previously said about the fight with Wilder. The latter threatens to box “up to 40 years.”
