Wicked rock Broner. Following Redkach “falls off” and Lundy

It is possible that the former world champion in four categories, Adrien Broner (34-4-1, 24 KOs), will once again have to look for a new opponent for the comeback fight, scheduled for February 25 in Atlanta (USA). Or move the comeback date somewhere far away.

Earlier, we reported that due to disagreements with the promoter, Ukrainian Ivan Redkach, whom Broner was supposed to meet initially, was replaced by 39-year-old American veteran Henry Lundy (31-12-1, 14 KOs).

However, as it became known
boxing scenedue to the fact that Lundy has a signed contract in his hands for the fight on February 4 against prospect
Ernesto Mercado (8-0, 8 KOs), the waiver will likely result in Henry being disqualified by the California State Athletic Commission. And this, in turn, may prevent Lundy from performing in any other state that falls under the jurisdiction of the Association of Boxing Commissions.

Lundy boxing both February 4 and February 25 is obviously out of the question.

Interestingly, on the eve of
interview Henry rejoiced at the opportunity (with Broner) and stated that “when I got the call with this offer, I immediately agreed without even asking about the money.”

Apparently, from a surge of joy, he forgot about the contract for another fight.
