The undefeated American “Beast” Rais Alim (20-0, 12 KOs) expressed a desire to become the first opponent of the Japanese “Monster” Naoi Inoue (24-0, 21 KOs) in the second bantamweight (up to 55.3 kg), in order to finally show your abilities to the whole world and prove that Naoya is not as scary as it is believed.
Recall that at the end of last year, Inoue became the absolute champion of the lightest division (up to 53.5 kg), but has already announced that he is giving up all four titles belonging to him and is rising to 55.3 kg to repeat the achievement already there.
“I would be happy to be the first person to defeat Inoue,” said Alim. — I am sure that Naoya is a real champion who is not afraid of any challenges, unlike the current champions of my division. He is considered one of the best fighters of his era, and I see myself as the one to dethrone him.”
“It frustrates me that everyone is avoiding me, because of which I am deprived of the opportunity to show my best in the ring. So I’m the only fighter who summons Inoue. And everyone else is scared. Who is scarier – “Monster” or “Beast”? Let’s find out by putting our perfect records on the line!”
But Arum knows who will beat Inoue – he weighs twice as much as a Japanese.
