As we reported earlier, it is highly likely that on November 19 in the USA there will be a megafight for the title of the absolute champion of the welterweight division (up to 66.7 kg) between the WBO world champion Terence Crawford (38-0, 29 KOs) and the WBC / WBA title holder / IBF by Errol Spence (28-0, 22 KOs).
On this occasion, Crawford’s coach Brian McIntyre was asked who he considers a more dangerous opponent for his ward – Spence or the absolute champion at 69.9 kg Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs), with whom Terence seems to like to fight in case of victory over Errol.
It is worth noting that both Spence and e-Charlo train under the same coach, Derrick James.
“I think they fight the same way. They are like twin brothers in this regard, but I would still call Spence (as a big threat to Crawford) because of what he has achieved in boxing, ”said the coach.
In addition, McIntyre has another reason to consider Errol more dangerous:
“He (Charlo) has been beaten before and Spence hasn’t lost yet. Spence has the mentality of a winner.”
In turn, ex-coach Golovkin said that Spence is stronger than Crawford.
