Having won an early victory in the tenth round of the third fight over his compatriot Derek Chisora (33-13, 23 KOs), the WBC heavyweight title holder (over 101.6 kg) Briton Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs)
answered to a frequently asked question from journalists.
Fury spoke about the most difficult future fight for him. The champion chose between the unified champion from Ukraine Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and the “interim” WBO champion Briton Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs).
Report from vRINGe: Tyson Fury and Martin Eden Syndrome
“People keep asking me who will I have a tougher fight with Usyk or Joyce? In my opinion, Usyk is a more dodgy boxer. Joe Joyce is the Juggernaut. I think Joe will give me a tougher fight than Usyk. 100%! Big Joe, 2 meters tall, 124 kg, like a Juggernaut. Will come at me and try to crush me into pieces. Or Usyk trying to steal the fight by running around the ring trying to get points.”

“I think Usyk is a very good fighter. I don’t take anything from him. He is the undisputed cruiserweight champion and unified heavyweight champion. So he has a great fantastic career, but I think I can handle him. I can’t just think, I don’t want to just talk, I want to prove it. So come on, do the fight!
But like I said, I’m sure the biggest challenge for me is Joe Joyce, the Juggernaut. And I mentioned him a lot, because I’m very impressed where he is and where he came from. The guy was supposed to be an Olympic champion. He was robbed in the final, in my opinion. And he did everything he had to. He beat Bryan Jennings, a world class fighter, Daniel Dubois, a world class fighter, and my friend, Joe Parker, a world class number 1 fighter. He is a mandatory challenger, he is ready, as I said. If the Usyk fight can’t happen, then we’ll do the Juggernaut fight. And we will definitely show the battle of the titans.”
- Tyson Fury: “Usyk is an ugly, slightly silly old man, looks like a rabbit”
