What Usyk does during the day and week: the champion – about the regime

Ukrainian IBF/WBO/WBA heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) conducts three workouts a day, and leaves Sunday for himself – “for the soul” and self-development. He spoke about the daily/weekly schedule in an interview with the British resource The Overlap.

“The first practice is five in the morning. It’s mostly cardio. 12 days – the second training. If this is a pool, then I swim at least two kilometers in the pool, ”he said about the first half of the day. “The main training is at six in the evening: on Monday, Wednesday and Friday it’s sparring, on Saturday it’s cross 10, 15 or 20 km.”

“And Sunday is my day, which I dedicate to prayer and going to church, reading books, studying English or writing down my thoughts in a diary, writing poetry,” Usyk listed.

If not Fury, Usyk will fight Dubois, he is already training – promoter

When asked by an interviewer what Ukraine needs right now, Usyk answered the way any sane Ukrainian should answer: “We need weapons, tanks, fighter jets.”
