We don’t know what Usyk will do – Coach Joshua

The coach of British ex-world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) Robert Garcia claims that there will be no plan for an upcoming rematch with current WBA / WBO / IBF title holder Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) to be sure to win by knockout.

Recall that the first fight in September last year, Usyk won on points by unanimous decision. The rematch is scheduled for August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

“Anthony has an advantage in height, arm span and power, but at the same time, we cannot go into the ring with the thought that we will definitely win by knockout. We must act smart and win the fight. We don’t know what Usyk will do,” Garcia said in an interview with
The Sun. – Usyk can do something, because of which we have to box more, for example. You never know in advance, but one way or another, we will be ready for anything Usyk has to offer. He is a great fighter and champion, I know him personally and I know how dedicated he is. But we are ready to make Anthony Joshua a three-time world champion.”

Joshua: “I will beat Usyk in a rematch and get the recognition and adoration I deserve”
