Wembley Arena, London, UK. In the co-main event of the show, local heavyweights (over 90.7 kg) Fabio Wardley (15-0, 14 KOs) and Nathan Gorman (19-2, 13 KOs) competed for the vacant BBC World Championship. The victory went to the favorite.
Gorman started the fight well. He imposed a fight at close range, not allowing the puncher to disperse his puffs, deftly wielded uppercuts, and sometimes clinched.
The second round was just amazing. Gorman shook Wardley and rushed to finish, but did not calculate his strength – he missed the right straight and ended up on the canvas. Before the gong, the underdog was once again knocked down.

In the 3rd round, Gorman was on the floor for the third time. He rose to his feet with great difficulty, tried to continue the fight, but soon a towel was thrown out of his corner.
Wordley TKO 3.
