Former world boxing leader Floyd Mayweather claims that another former No. 1 in the pound, light heavyweight Andre Ward (32-0, 16 KOs), expressed interest in a fair fight with YouTuber Jake Paul (6-0, 4 KOs). The veteran has not competed since 2017, when he suddenly left the sport at the peak of his fame and form.
“I was talking to Andre if you guys saw us talking on stage at the International Boxing Hall of Fame,” Mayweather said. “Ward said he wouldn’t mind an exhibition fight against Jake Paul.”
Jake Paul does not want to fight in show fights yet, he wants everything seriously and officially. He will return to the ring against an as yet unnamed opponent on August 6 in New York (USA).

Over the weekend, Paul was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame along with Mayweather. The latter has already announced the name of the next “rival”: “fight” – in September.
The other day, Ward ran into the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF, by the way, he accused the sanctioning organizations of greed.
