vRINGe rankings updated: Ruiz and Estrada are back in the top 10

In the “Ratings” section of our website, weekly changes are made to the top 10 according to vRINGe.com.

Changes have taken place in the following divisions:

  • – super heavy;
  • – first middle;
  • – light;
  • – second featherweight;
  • – the second lightest;
  • – the lightest;
  • – the second easiest;
  • – the first is the easiest.


Heavyweight (over 90.7 kg)

Andy Ruiz Jr. (USA / Mexico) returned to the ring after a long downtime, won Luis Ortiz (Cuba), entered the top 10 and took the 7th position

Dillian Whyte (Great Britain) dropped from 7th position to 8th

Martin Bakole Ilunga (DRC) dropped from 8th position to 9th

Luis Ortiz (Cuba), who held the 9th position, left the top 10

First middle weight (up to 69.9 kg)

Liam Smith (Great Britain) after defeating Hassan Mwakinyo (Tanzania) moved up from 7th position to 6th

Gary Callie (Ireland) entered the top 10 and finished in 10th position

Our pound-for-pound rating

Rating criteria:
1) the first places are occupied by the reigning champions;
2) a fighter occupies a place in the division in which he had his last fight (even if he is a champion in another category), but performances (level of opposition, quality of victories) in the previous weight are taken into account;
3) priority in evaluation – results for the last 3 years;
4) a fighter leaves the top 10 due to low activity (more than 12 months without fights);
5) The rating is updated weekly depending on the current results.
