Vladimir Mineyev reacted to Ivleeva’s party

Reigning AMC Fight Nights middleweight champion Vladimir Mineev shared his opinion on the scandalous party organized a week ago by video blogger and TV host Anastasia Ivleeva, which not only caused a negative reaction in Russian society, but also attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies.

“I was, frankly speaking, surprised when I learned that in the very center of Mother Russia, in Moscow, the golden-headed Moscow, a party with the obvious coloring of the community banned in Russia was held,” Mineyev said in a video recorded in the area of the SVO, where the fighter is serving. “What I would like to say about this. First of all, any entertainment event that takes place in such a difficult time for our country has a very dubious coloring”

“Among these people were those I know personally, who are called folk artists. The title of people’s artist obliges you to be close to the people, and the people of our country today are all immersed in the problems associated with the special military operation. There are big artists, big names, who cancel their concerts, their events, and come here to give a performance for the guys in the front line and thus support their morale. I am grateful to these artists

“And about those people who were present at this event – first of all they should be dealt with by the competent authorities. I am grateful to those people who do not ignore this incident and do not let it go to waste. Of course, I would like everyone to be responsible for their actions, but there were people of great age there, and even such people make mistakes. That’s why I think that the first shot should be a warning shot. Even in such a situation, you should treat people with leniency”

The fighter also left a link to a petition that calls for Philip Kirkorov, who attended the event, to be stripped of the title of People’s Artist of Russia.

“There are prominent athletes who have been stripped of their titles of ‘Honored Master of Sports’ for their anti-Russian stance,” Mineyev explained in a comment. “And how are artists worse than athletes in such a case? Let this petition be the warning shot”

After the party, which was held with an almost naked dress code, its organizer has been dealt with by the IRS, and star attendees of the event continue to post apology videos, facing so-called “cancellation.”
