Valentina Shevchenko predicted a rematch with Alexa Grasso

Former UFC flyweight title holder Valentina Shevchenko, who lost ahead of schedule to Alexa Grasso earlier this month, plans to deal with the Mexican in a dominant style in an immediate revenge and regain the championship belt.

“I’m going to go out and end the fight early,” Bullet said in an interview with Ariel Helwani. “I feel like I have to do it because it is very important. Not just to win on points, but to show your superiority, another level. It’s really very important to me.”

According to Shevchenko, she is ready to enter the octagon in three months, but suggests that the new UFC champion will delay the return.

“I called my manager and said that I was ready to fight in June-July, but I understand that it is very early for her. She will want to shine in front of the cameras a little longer, while she has the opportunity.”

Recall that the women’s flyweight title fight, which became the second most important event of the UFC 285 tournament, ended with Grasso’s victory by rear naked choke in the fourth five-minute period, however, following the results of three rounds, Shevchenko won the fight with a score of 29-28 on the cards of all judges.
