For Valentina, this will be the eighth defense of the title, which she won at the end of 2018, defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
Last year, Shevchenko had just one fight, narrowly defeating Brazil’s Taila Santos on points in June by split decision.
The winning streak of the champion at the moment is already nine fights.
Grasso has been with the UFC since November 2016, her current record in the promotion is 7-3, having won four previous fights, including two against Joanne Wood and Vivienne Araujo in 2022.
It was previously announced that the main event of UFC 285 will be a fight for the vacant heavyweight title between Jon Jones and Cyril Gun.
