Vadim Nemkov: “Bellator won’t just let you go to the UFC”

The best Bellator fighter regardless of weight class, Vadim Nemkov, who left the Bellator light heavyweight championship belt vacant, answered the question about whether he is still thinking about a potential move to the roster of the strongest league in the world, or finally resigned to the fact that he will not be able to try his hand in the UFC.

According to the Russian fighter, his contract with the American organization is valid until the end of this year, and before that time he will not be able to leave Bellator.

“Not everything depends on me,” Nemkov said in an interview with the channel “Ushataika”. “I made it as a fighter in Bellator, and Bellator won’t just let me go to the UFC. You can’t just walk away – there will be lawsuits. I still have a contract that runs until the end of this year, so we’ll fight here until the end of this year, and then we’ll see”

In a week Vadim Nemkov will make his heavyweight debut at the Bellator and PFL co-main event in Riyadh, and the Russian will face former PFL champion Bruno Cappelozza.
