Vadim Nemkov and Yoel Romero made weight ahead of Bellator 297

The official weigh-in ceremony for the participants of the Bellator 297 tournament took place in Chicago, the main event of which will be the light heavyweight title fight between Vadim Nemkov and Yoel Romero.

The headliners of the event successfully coped with the procedure – the Russian showed 92.4 kg (203.8 pounds), and the Cuban managed exactly 93 kg (205 pounds).

Competitors in the second most important bout, which will be a super bantamweight title fight between reigning division champion Sergio Pettis and Bellator featherweight title holder Patricio Freire, also had no trouble hitting the championship limit, recording 60.8 kg (134 lbs) and 60.9 kg (134.2 lb), respectively.
