Usyk wants to help Joshua prepare for the fight with Fury – Ukrainian statement

As we reported earlier, the former world heavyweight champion Briton Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) accepted the challenge of his compatriot, the current WBC title holder Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs), who threw him the day before. The fight could take place before the end of this year.

Meanwhile, the WBA / WBO / IBF world champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 11 KOs), who defeated Joshua for the second time on August 20 and after that announced that he would now fight either with Fury, or with no one at all, stated willingness to go to Anthony’s training camp and help him prepare.

“If he needs my help, I will go to his camp and help him. He is not 40 years old, he is 33 years old, so he must continue to work – Anthony, do not stop. I understand that he wanted to win against me, but Anthony cannot give up. He must move on,” Usyk said.
