Usyk to vacate WBO title, Joyce says

37-year-old “interim” WBO heavyweight champion Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) believes that the owner of full-length WBO / WBA / IBF titles Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) will eventually part with the WBO throne , if his fight for the absolute with Tyson Fury does not take place at the beginning of next year.

The Briton believes that after Usyk’s grueling 17-year career in amateurs and pros, he will not want to fight him – after all, this is the strongest risk with such a benefit.

“Ideally, I would like to fight Usyk,” he said.

Joyce volunteered to come on as a substitute december – but not with Fury, but with Joshua

“I think he is probably going to leave the title. Doesn’t want a fight. He has been boxing for a long time: hundreds of amateur fights over the years, and he earned very decent money for two fights against Joshua, Joe argues. “I don’t know if he really wants to fight the Juggernaut?” If he doesn’t burn out with Fury, I’m not sure he’s going to want to get hit in the head by getting into a hard fight when he doesn’t need to.”

Following his career-best win over Joseph Parker in late September, Joyce plans to return to the ring in March.

On October 14, Fury’s next three opponents were named – Usyk is on the list, but someone is missing there. The other day, Tyson “distinguished himself” by challenging the infernal champion of the center of England.
