The rematch between Ukrainian WBA/WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) and British ex-champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) can be officially announced before the end of this week .
British promoter Eddie Hearn spoke about this in an interview with DAZN.
“I hope we close the deal this week,” Hearn said. – July 23 in the Middle East is our first option. No contracts signed yet, but the fight is 9-10 weeks away and we are ready to make it official so that these guys start beating sparring partners in preparation for the unified heavyweight championship fight.”
