Quiet Cannon Country Club, Montebello, California, USA. In the main bout of the evening in the light middleweight limit (up to 69.9 kg), Ukrainian slugger Sergey “El Flaco” Bogachuk (22-1, 22 KOs) defended the WBC Continental Americas title in a confrontation with a seasoned native of Jamaica, Nathaniel “Nate the Great” Gallimore ( 22-7-1, 17 KOs).

The underdog immediately made it clear that he did not intend to give up the center of the ring without a fight. He offered the Ukrainian a fierce mahach, began to push. In response, Bogachuk wielded good uppercuts, but he failed at the end of the round, picking up blows.

At the start of the 2nd three-minute period, Gallimore gave Bogachuk the center of the ring, held on to the ropes, tried to counter. In the middle of the round, he seized the initiative. His blows to the body are very painful – they disturb the favorite. And the underdog works out much better in defense with the body and forearm.

The third round was held in mahacha at close range. Bogachuk began to interrupt Gallimore. He answered less and less, missed more and more. Cool fight! Spectacular shirts!

The Jamaican native realized that something had to change. He began to rely more on his legs, tried to box from the jab. It helped, because it is traditionally difficult for Bogachuk to close the distance without picking up blows. Gallimore shocked the Ukrainian with an uppercut and broke his nose. But the favorite is still more active. Due to this, he confidently took the next three minutes.

In the 6th round, Bogachuk forced Gallimore into full survival mode. He stopped responding with blows for blows and did not even move – he was hiding behind a not very reliable block. The referee could not stand it and stopped the fight a few seconds before the gong.

Bogachuk TKO 6.

The second consecutive defeat of Gallimor from a native of Ukraine.
