It was hard for Islam Makhachev 10 to win the UFC lightweight title. But he made it seem easy by taking home the gold.
The Khabib Nurmagomedov-trained fighter faced Charles Oliveira for the vacant title at UFC 280, which took place on Oct. 22 at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Makhachev won the 11th consecutive win with an impressive punch and submission in just two rounds.

Oliveira is still unbooked, but he has requested a rematch against Makhachev.
