UFC fighter Muhammad Mokaev refused Russian origin

The undefeated native of Dagestan, Muhammad Mokaev, who represents Great Britain in the strongest league in the world, turned to the UFC with a request not to mention his Russian origin.

“I do not like it! Please just leave Dagestan on my next exit,” the 22-year-old fighter wrote on the social network, making it clear that he did not want to see the inscription “Russia” next to his name.

Muhammad Mokaev, who made his debut in the UFC in March last year, managed to win four victories in the organization, in the last fight he finished with a broken neck in the third round of the Brazilian Zhafel Filho.

In October last year, Mokaev took part in the UFC 280 tournament in Abu Dhabi, and one of his seconds in the duel against Malcolm Gordon was the famous Russian fighter Rustam Khabilov.

At the moment, Muhammad Mokaev is ranked twelfth in the UFC flyweight division.
