Irvin Rivera is in trouble
Mexican UFC fighter Irvin Rivera (10-6) got into the police. The 31-year-old athlete was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder,
“The UFC is aware of the recent incident involving Irvin Rivera. Information was received from his team that his behavior may be the result of mental health problems. We are concerned about the allegations and will collect more information. Rivera has been advised that he is unable to fight for the time being,” the UFC said in a statement.
Recall that Rivera was supposed to fight in March at the UFC Fight Night tournament.
