UFC Fight Night 241 results: Murphy defeats Barboza

UFC Fight Night 241 took place in Las Vegas, and in the main event, undefeated British welterweight Leron Murphy earned his sixth consecutive UFC victory, winning a five-round unanimous decision over organization veteran Edson Barboza.

Murphy dominated the Brazilian in the standup throughout the fight, eventually winning the fight by scores of 49-46 and 50-45 twice. In his post-fight interview, the Brit said he would like to compete at UFC 304 in Manchester, asking for a top-10 fighter in the division.

In the second main event of the event, American welterweight Chaos Williams knocked out Guyana’s Carlston Harris with a right kick in the second minute of the match.

In other results, Abusupiyan Magomedov, representing Germany, got his career back on track after two consecutive losses, winning a unanimous decision over Brazil’s Worley Alves.

Adrian Janiz, Angela Hill, Tom Nolan, Omar Sy, Melissa Gatto all earned early victories, while the bout between Ariani Carnelossi and Piera Rodriguez ended with the latter disqualified for intentional head kicks in the second round.
