UFC 274 Medical Suspensions: Tony Ferguson receives days of for his brutal knockout loss

Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is suspended for 60 days following his brutal knockout loss to Michael Chandler at UFC 274.

This is according to the Arizona Boxing and MMA Commission, who released medical suspensions. They also oversaw Saturday’s Pay-Per-View event at Footprint Center.

Following the event,

A total of 17 combatants received medical suspensions. Details on the nature of the suspensions were largely left undisclosed, likely due to medical privacy laws.

Ferguson was violently stopped by a front kick to the face by Chandler in the second round of their main card fight. The ex-champ was sent to an area hospital and received an all-clear after a CT scan, per UFC officials. Recently, he posted a photo of himself in a doctor’s office. He claimed that he had been freed from any broken bones.
