“The Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight will be announced very soon, sources say,” the journalist wrote on the social network.
A few days earlier, renowned promoter Eddie Hearn revealed that an exhibition fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou was rumored to be in the works, while Gypsy King promoter Frank Warren indirectly confirmed this information, stating that the next fight of his ward “will forever change the rules of the game.”
Another indirect confirmation that Fury could share the ring with Ngannou was the news that the potential rival of the British, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, signed a contract to fight Daniel Dubois.
At the beginning of this year, Francis Ngannou officially left the strongest league in the world, vacating the UFC heavyweight championship belt, after which he signed a contract with the PFL, under whose banner he plans to debut next year. Tyson Fury last entered the ring in December last year, knocking out Derek Chisora in the tenth round.
