Tyson Fury: “I’ll be the greatest heavyweight in history if I beat Usik”

If Tyson Fury manages to beat Alexander Usik, he will become not only the absolute heavyweight champion of the world, but also the greatest heavyweight in the history of professional boxing.

This British boxer said in an interview with DAZN.

“I think he’s the best opponent I’ve ever faced because I’ve fought world heavyweight champions, undefeated people, I’ve fought Olympic champions, but I’ve never fought a world boxing champion in two weight classes,” said “Gypsy King”. “That puts him at the top of the list of all my opponents, and I think a win over Usik will secure my number one status of all time. I will be the greatest heavyweight in the history of the sport, there’s no doubt about that.”

Recall that the unification bout of heavyweights, in which the British will put on the line the WBC championship belt, and the Ukrainian will risk the IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO titles, will take place on May 18 in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
