Two-time champion of Ukraine Yaroslav Khartsiz makes his pro debut with K2

Two-time champion of Ukraine among amateurs and participant of the Olympic Games-2020, 25-year-old Yaroslav Khartsiz at the end of this week he will make his debut in the professional ring.

Khartsyz will perform under the auspices of the promotion company K2 Promotions Ukraine and on January 28 in Poland he will fight against a local
Mariana Vesolovsky (2-3-1, 2 KOs).

“I have long dreamed of making my debut as a pro, I want to please the fans with good boxing,” Yaroslav commented on the new stage of his career. – I went through a big school in Olympic boxing and I think that I am ready to start the path to the belts. I am glad that we were able to agree with (general director of K2) Alexander Krasyuk, I believe in him as a professional in his field. I feel comfortable living in my country and representing courageous Ukraine around the world. January 28 will be my first step in this direction.”

Khartsyz also stressed that he plans to combine professional boxing with performances in the national team of Ukraine, since he did not part with the dream of winning Olympic gold.

“Welcome to the K2 team,” Krasyuk greeted the prospect. — In this difficult time, we must move forward and glorify our country with sporting achievements. Yaroslav is a bright representative of the new generation of boxing Ukraine, so together we will make efforts and continue to glorify our country on the world sports arena.”

Note that Khartsiz is a permanent sparring partner of compatriot and already experienced pro Denis Berinchik.
