British promoter Eddie Hearn does not expect that the upcoming fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion between his compatriot, WBC title holder Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), who owns the titles of WBA, IBF and WBO, will please the audience with a bright spectacle.
The functionary voiced his point of view in an interview with
iFL TV.
“Some people do clickbait, but I immediately said: I don’t think it will be a very spectacular fight, although it is very intriguing,” says Hearn. “Well, I don’t believe that their styles will make the fight really cool, although it will be very intriguing.”
“Two geniuses will meet in the ring, two incredible fighters. And I think Usyk is very, very hard to beat, so I prefer him, ”added Eddie.
Hearn also went through Fury’s exorbitant financial demands.
Meanwhile, there is evidence that Fury is eager to fight Usyk and is already training like a man possessed.
