Rockhold was the Strikeforce and UFC middleweight champion. Last August, after losing on points to Paulo Costa, he announced his retirement. However, he later changed his mind.
Alvarez held Bellator and UFC lightweight titles. It was the victory over him in November 2016 that made Conor McGregor a two-division champion. After leaving the UFC in 2018, Eddie competed in Asia’s One FC. He had his last fight in April 2021 and lost on points to the Korean Rae Yun Ok.
