Tszyu admitted that he was nervous before the fight for the absolute championship

Mandatory junior middleweight contender Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs) revealed that he is jittery ahead of his fight in late January in Las Vegas (USA) against undisputed champion Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs).

“I have a serious task ahead of me, it cannot be denied. But I’m not a beginner, and I accept any challenge. And this challenge is now the biggest of all possible. Yes, I would say that there is a little bit of nervousness,” Tszyu admitted.
W.A. Today. “But that’s just because it’s a kill or be killed situation. I’m out hunting. It’s time to raise the stakes.”

According to Tim, he already did the initial part of the camp in Australia, did the GPP part in Thailand “and figured out his physical form.”

Tszyu is not going to “go to fight in a pub in front of 200 spectators”

“So now I’m making plans for the fight, working on skills and just improving the overall level,” added the prospect and said that he wants to arrive in the US early in order to focus on the camp without the distractions that are at home.

“I haven’t had this in a long time; feeling like I didn’t accomplish anything until I put on those four belts. As for me, I really have not achieved anything yet, – said Tim. “After I beat Jeff Horn, I got kind of bored. If you are surrounded by people who are obviously a little higher in class, then you grow as a fighter. We have a lot of talent in Australia, but not as much as in America.”

Tszyu is considered a serious underdog in such a fight and wants the help of his latest victim.
