26-year-old Polish heavyweight prospect, 2m giant with 218cm arm span Damian Knyba (10-0, 6 KOs) will continue his career under the banner of Bob Arum’s promotional company Top Rank. The signing of a long-term contract became known today.
“Damian Knyba is an incredibly talented heavyweight who has already become a favorite of passionate and knowledgeable Polish boxing fans. I expect that in 2023 he will make a huge leap,” Arum commented on the signing.
Knyba made his professional debut in 2021 and has already managed to “light up” in the USA, where he had three fights, including the last one in December, performing on the undercard of the Top Rank show Lopez-Martin.
“I want to follow in the footsteps of Andrzej Golota, Tomasz Adamek and Adam Kownacki,” said Damian. “But with all due respect to those who paved the way, my dream is to surpass them and become the first Polish world heavyweight champion. I know that I have a long road ahead of me, and I am ready for this journey. With the support of Top Rank, there are no barriers for me.”
