On May 7, Tony Ferguson’s pickup truck demolished several cars parked outside a nightclub in Hollywood and flipped over. The UFC fighter was arrested after he refused to take a field sobriety test and cooperate with police officers who arrived on the scene and noted the odor of alcohol emanating from him in the report.
Two and a half months after the incident, Tony Ferguson suffered his sixth straight defeat, losing by arm-triangle choke in the third round to fellow countryman Bobby Green at UFC 291 in Salt Lake City.
The 39-year-old American will return to the octagon on Dec. 16 at UFC 296 in Las Vegas, and will attempt to get his career back on track against 28-year-old Brit Paddy Pimblett.
